I don't know which is the story...maybe they both are.
This is pre-emptive on the part of McGreevey. The bad stuff is about to come out in the sexual harrassment lawsuit that has been filed against him.
Maybe someone will tell me they are mad at McGreevey because he passed as hetero when he really 'knew the truth' about himself. That it's shameful for gay americans to pretend it's not true for the purpose of their careers.
More likely someone will tell me how what James McGreevey has done is not his fault, but is the fault of the heterosexual, conservative or religious community. That if there had been same-sex marriage then McGreevey would've been free to 'be who he is' and none of this would have happened.
Yeah, I think it's probably the latter.
